
Daewoo E&C Eyes Modernisation of 250 km of the Karakum Canal
South Korea's Daewoo E&C has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Turkmenistan's State Committee for Water Management on cooperation in modernising the Karakum Canal. The company is considering taking part in the reconstruction and engineering upgrade of a section approximately 250 kilometres long. The document was signed by Daewoo E&C CEO Lee Kang-seok and Committee Chairman Durdy Gendzhiev on the sidelines of the Turkmen-Korean Business Forum in Seoul
