These same-day negotiations highlight the strategic focus of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy on strengthening ties with two of the region’s largest economies. Discussion of Upcoming Visits with the Japanese Diplomat During the meeting with the Ambassador of Japan, the parties discussed key issues of Turkmen–Japanese cooperation. The diplomats particularly emphasized the exceptional importance of high-level and top-level contacts for further advancing interstate relations.
